Can I transfer my domain if it has already expired?
ICANN (the governing body for domains) has set a rule to allow expired domain names to be transferred while they are in the grace period. The grace period differs per domain extension, so it is recommended to check with your registrar how long you would have before you cannot transfer your domain name.
Once the grace period has expired, the domain will enter a ‘Redemption phase,’ at which point the domain can not be transferred to an alternative registrar.
Can I only order a domain name?
Short answer: Yes! You do not need to purchase hosting with us and can register a domain name as a standalone product.
To register or transfer a domain to HostDash click here.
Every domain order includes free WHOIS privacy protection and is enabled by default. If you do not wish to use domain privacy protection it can be disabled after your initial order within the client area.
