In this article, we will cover how you can change the nameservers associated with your domain name registered at NameSilo.
What are my HostDash nameservers?
All of our servers operates on the nameservers:
- NS1.PROVIDEDNS.COM
- NS2.PROVIDEDNS.COM
If you are hosting with HostDash, you will need to use the above nameservers to point your domain name to our servers.
How to change the nameservers at NameSilo
- Log into your NameSilo account by clicking here.
- From the top navigation menu, click My Account
- From the top navigation menu, click Manage My Domains
- You should now see a list of your domain names. Select the domain you would like to update the nameservers for by clicking on the checkbox on the left, followed by the Update Nameservers button located in the top actions menu bar.
- Remove any default nameservers (NS1.DNSOWL.COM, NS2.DNSOWL.COM, NS3.DNSOWL.COM) and replace those with the nameservers you would like to use.
If you are hosting with HostDash, your nameservers would be:
Name Server 1: NS1.PROVIDEDNS.COM
Name Server 2: NS2.PROVIDEDNS.COM - Once you have set your nameservers, click on the orange Submit button.
Congratulations! You have successfully updated your nameservers at NameSilo. It can take up to 48 hours for the nameservers to propagate globally at which point you will be able to see your website resolving from the HostDash servers.
