Requesting a free website migration

At HostDash, we are proud to offer unlimited free website migration services to all customers who have an existing web hosting plan at another provider and would like to make the switch to us.

Free Migration Disclaimers

• This article covers how to migrate a website to HostDash from another hosting provider. Domain name transfers are not applicable in this article.
• For reseller clients, the number of websites we can transfer is
  determined by your active reseller package. For example, R1 includes 25
  cPanel accounts so we can migrate 25 cPanel accounts for free. R2
  includes 50 cPanels (50 migrations) and R3 includes 75 cPanel accounts (75
  migrations).
• If your original web hosting provider does not use cPanel, we will perform a best effort migration at no cost, though our ability to perform such a migration is dependent on the tools and features your current hosting provider offers.
  

Free Website Migration Process

1. After your order, submit a migration request with our Migrations department
2. Once we have the relevant information, one of our Migrations Specialists will log into your original hosting account to determine the best path forward in migrating your website to HostDash
3. For web hosting providers using cPanel, our Migration Specialists will generate a full cPanel backup and restore that backup on our servers. If your web host does not use cPanel, we will determine what tools (if any) are available to perform your migration
4. After your website has been migrated, our Migration Specialists will evaluate your website in it’s live state as well as on the HostDash server to ensure nothing was missed
5. We will advise you on how you can test your website to ensure nothing was missed as well as provide you with the nameservers you will need to point your domain to

Note – We only require your original hosting accounts details from you (step 1 above). Steps 2 through 5 will be performed by our Migrations Specialists ensuring a complete, no hassle and no downtime website migration.
